Claims even if a wealth tax was introduced, it'd make little difference

The Prime Minister has clarified Labour has no plans to implement such a tax, at a post-Cabinet press conference this afternoon.

Speculation ran rampant today, after Jacinda Ardern dodged the question this morning.

Former tax working group member Craig Elliffe says only four countries worldwide have a wealth tax.

He says that makes them relatively easy to avoid, as very wealthy people will expatriate their capital.
