    Police have charged a man in relation to the death of a man in Owaka, near Clutha


    33-year-old Rikki McCall was found dead on Owaka Valley Road on the night of Saturday May 7.

    Detective Sergeant Scott McMulkin says a 50-year-old man has been charged with failing to stop and ascertain injury in relation to a fatal crash.

    He's due to appear in Dunedin District Court on Tuesday May 31.

    The investigation into Rikki's death remains ongoing and Police are still appealing for information from the public.
