Marlborough Police say they became aware last week of a number of young women's pictures being taken, and doctored with sexually explicit additions.

Investigators travelled to Nelson and found the person responsible.

A 56-year-old Nelson man is due in court on Monday, on charges of causing digital harm, possession of objectionable material and child exploitation.

Anyone affected by the behaviour is being urged to report to Police on ten five , or at Blenheim Police Station.
