Andrew Little is making his case for scrapping district health boards, on the world stage

Andrew Little is making his case for scrapping district health boards, on the world stage

The Health Minister is arriving in Geneva for the first in-person meeting of world health ministers since the beginning of the Covid pandemic.

He'll deliver a speech about health equity and the Government's health reform programme.

It follows a post-budget speech he delivered on Friday, where he defended giving the Ministry of Health more control over the health system.

Outgoing Director General of Health Ashley Bloomfield will also attend the summit.
