Nearly 245-thousand dollars is to be forfeited to the Crown ... after an investigation into the drug-related business dealings of Daren Standen

Standen came to police attention during a 2020 family harm incident in Christchurch.

Police found a large sum of cash, and methamphetamine and utensils in a car.

The 60 year old was sentenced to home detention, after pleading guilty.

In the High Court, Justice Gerald Nation has ruled the cash, and a 2003 Audi Quattro be forfeited.

The car's whereabouts isn't known and Police are appealing for information.
