Justin Thomas has staged a record-equalling final round comeback to win the PGA Championship for the second time

Justin Thomas has staged a record-equalling final round comeback to win the PGA Championship for the second time

Now ranked world number five, the American carded a three under par 67 to finish tied with compatriot Will Zalatoris, eventually winning the three hole playoff by a shot.

Thomas started the day seven shots behind - he says he just took it one shot at a time in the final round.

Overnight leader, Chile's Mito Pereira, double bogeyed the last hole - when holding a one shot lead.
