An Air Force crew has found two missing boats near Kiribati

An Air Force crew has found two missing boats near Kiribati

Searches began on Sunday for a boat overdue from a trip between Makin and Butaritari Islands.

The vessel carrying two men, a woman and an 11-year-old child set off from Makin Island on Friday.

The US Coast Guard was meanwhile preparing to hunt another vessel reported missing from Kiribati late last week, with three on board.

Both boats were found yesterday with all on board appearing in good health.
