    A person's being treated for an injured leg - after a shooting in Invercargill


    The Armed Offenders Squad arrested a man in Kapuka at 10.20 last night, after reports of firearms use.

    A 34-year-old is appearing in Invercargill District Court today, charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

    The offender and victim are known to each other and Police aren't seeking anyone else.

    A scene examination is under way.
