Former music teacher Leonard Cave has been found guilty of sexually abusing and providing drugs to former students at the Auckland school, in offending that started in the 70s.
The 75 year old faced charges of indecent assault, indecency between males, sexual violation, and supplying students cannabis and LSD.
In a statement, Board chair, Aaron Snodgrass, says they acknowledge the courage of all Old Boy survivors who laid complaints that led to today's guilty verdict.
He says they're commissioning an inquiry into abuse at Dilworth - to better understand the contributing factors -- and implementing a Redress Programme to help survivors.
