A group hopes to make power bills less confusing, so people can easily compare deals

The Consumer Advocacy Council and Consumer NZ have launched a research project looking at how bills are presented.
They aim to make it easier for people to switch power companies and drive greater competition.
Council chair Deborah Hart says retailers will be asked to provide a bill so they can be compared.
She says they hope to create a template bill that's an exemplar retailers can use for best practice.
