    Cheaper bus fares are on the way for Greater Christchurch


    The regional council has locked in a two dollar flat fare trial, in its 2022-23 annual plan - set to kick off in February.

    The fare is for Metrocard-holders across Christchurch, including areas like Lincoln in Selwyn, or Rangiora in Waimakariri.

    The fare will also change to just one dollar for tertiary students, under-25s, and community service cardholders.
