A CO2 shortage is forcing suppliers to reduce production and increase prices

A CO2 shortage is forcing suppliers to reduce production and increase prices

Tegel says they may not be able to produce some of their products due to the shortage of the gas.

Beer, fizzy drink, sparking wine, cheese, preserved meats, ready-to-eat meals and healthcare products could also be affected by the ongoing shortage.

Supie Founder Sarah Balle says consumers may face a combination of shortage of stock and price increases.

She says they're doing their best to keep prices fair and be mindful of the pressures suppliers are facing.
