New Zealand has 5285 community Covid-19 cases today, and another 12 deaths

The Ministry of Health has also reclassified 31 previously reported deaths as unrelated to Covid.

It says the deaths came more than 28 days after those people had been reported as cases, and their formal cause of death has been deemed unrelated.

Today's reported deaths are all from the past week.

There are three-hundred people in hospital, with five in ICU.
