Aaron Gate is hailing the spirit within the track cycling squad after ending the Commonwealth Games programme with his third gold medal as part of a record 13 overall for the team, made up of eight gold, four silver and a bronze

The 31-year-old won the points race with teammate Campbell Stewart claiming silver.
The success comes after a tumultuous period, sparked by the death of Olivia Podmore on August 9 last year.
A damning independent review, a mass of staff resignations and an overhaul of the high performance programme followed.
Gate says they're a tight group.
Sprinter Ellesse Andrews also secured her third gold, this time in the keirin.
