    A crucial National Basketball League win for the Wellington Saints, beating the top-of-table Nelson Giants 89-79 at Wellington's TSB Arena


    The Saints were again led by Aussie import Xavier Cooks with 28 points, and fellow import Mike Smith dropping 23 points off the bench.

    The win puts the Saints fourth on the ladder - and they can guarantee a playoff spot with victory over the Tuatara in Auckland on Saturday.
