Kiwis with itchy feet are taking the chance to see the world again

New Stats NZ data shows a provisional net migration loss of 11-thousand-500 people in the year to June - the 16th month in a row of annual loss.

49 thousand 200 migrants arrived, and 60 thousand 700 people left in the past 12 months.

But Stats NZ's Tehseen Islam says migrant arrivals and departures are still at their lowest levels for a June year .... since the 1990s.
