It's being argued public funding for a life-saving Cystic Fibrosis drug would save sufferers hundreds of thousands of dollars

Patients, Pharmac and the Government are stuck in a feedback loop on the breakthrough drug Trikafta .

Patients are spending upwards of 300-thousand dollars on treatment - and Pharmac says funding is a must, but it needs more money.

Cystic Fibrosis NZ Chief Executive Lisa Burns says she'd like the Government to intervene, and doesn't understand why it can't find the 60 million needed to fund the drug.
