Liverpool have dropped points in their first home game of the Premier League football season

Liverpool have dropped points in their first home game of the Premier League football season

They have come from behind to finish 1-all against Crystal Palace at Anfield.

Liverpool were down a goal and a man early in the second half after new signing Darwin Nunez was marched for unsportsmanlike conduct, courtesy of a headbutt.

Luis Diaz rescued the hosts four minutes later with a strike from the edge of the penalty box.

The result leaves Liverpool 12th on two points.

Manchester City and Arsenal are the only sides to open the season with consecutive victories.
