There's room for more than one party with an environmental focus

There's room for more than one party with an environmental focus

That's the message of National's Bluegreens, as it kicks off its annual forum this weekend.

The party's environment spokesman Scott Simpson says usually when it comes to the environment, the political spotlight is on the Greens.

But he says there's room for National in that conversation too.

He says the Greens long ago stopped being a pure environmental party and no one party has a monopoly on climate change issues.
