    A car has hit a building on Tuam Street in Christchurch Central, which sparked concern over a gas leak


    The collision happened just after 3 this afternoon.

    Emergency services responded but there have been no major injuries reported.

    Police say a gas engineer is in the process of assessing whether there has been any leak.

    Some traffic management is still in place at the scene.
