Piha residents on Auckland's West Coast are being urged not to travel unless it's an emergency

The beachside suburb's volunteer fire brigade are warning residents of a slip halfway down the Piha hill.
Pictures from the scene show the collapsed rock wall is almost blocking the whole road.
