Police have now seized six vehicles involved in illegal street racing in Hamilton last weekend

Officers were called to Chartwell about 1am on Saturday April 15, after reports of dangerous driving, burnouts -- and a paintball gun fired at a CCTV camera.

The group fled before Police arrived - but officers went on to arrest four people for disorderly behaviour at a second location, issuing 37 infringements, and impounding one vehicle.

They're still working to identity the drivers.
