Eyewitnesses to a stabbing outside a Dublin school have described the incident as bedlam

Eyewitnesses to a stabbing outside a Dublin school have described the incident as bedlam

Three young children, as well as a man and woman, are in hospital after the early afternoon incident -- the man is being treated as a person of interest.

Police say the incident appears to be isolated, and are confident it's not terror-related.

Witness Siobhan Kearney told RTE they got the children to safety, and formed a ring to stop the attacker.

She says a young man tackled him, removing his knife, while another kicked the knife over to a green and guarded it until the Police came.
