Wellington Mayor Tory Whanau says she's looking forward to getting stuck back into work -- after admitting an alcohol problem

Wellington Mayor Tory Whanau says she's looking forward to getting stuck back into work -- after admitting an alcohol problem

There are fresh allegations the mayor was behaving inappropriately at a city bar two weeks ago.

The co-owner of Havana bar, Roger Young, says he was also there that night, enjoying himself with friends, just like she was.

He says staff have told him Whanau was respectful and just having a good time.

In July, Whanau admitted to being tipsy and failing to pay her bill at a popular restaurant.
