A call for more resources for schools to help educate students about vaping

Ministry of Education data shows just under four thousand students were stood down for smoking and vaping last year.
Almost half were at primary and intermediate school.
ASH Director Ben Youdan says officials need to be providing better information to schools on how to work with young people to navigate a world where vaping exists.
He says they also need to know how to treat it as a health issue for those showing signs of dependence, rather than stigmatising their behaviour -- which doesn't help them.
