    Christchurch police are trawling the Avon River for a second day - looking for a gun linked to the death of David Bridgwater


    The 38-year-old was found with gunshot wounds on Aranui's Carisbrooke Street, in the early hours of January 4.

    He was next to his still-running car.

    A police spokesperson confirms the dive squad's back searching near Anzac Bridge.

    A 51-year-old woman was charged last week with being an accessory after the fact to murder.
