Fire and Emergency is urging people to be cautious this week, with a high fire danger expected for much of the country

Wildfire manager Tim Mitchell says devices that use heat such as gas barbeques and fish smokers have controls around where and how they can be used.
He says people need to follow the rules whenever undertaking an activity which may involve a flame or heat source.
