    The fifth tropical cyclone of the South Pacific season, has formed, near the Cook Islands


    Meteorologists are keeping an eye on Tropical Cyclone Nat- expected to bring heavy rain, gusty winds, and rough seas through the Cook Islands, before heading towards French Polynesia.

    It was recently upgraded from a tropical depression, to a category one cyclone.

    A tropical cyclone alert is in force for the Cook Islands - with warnings of damages to trees, and structures - in exposed places. 02-06-24 1306
