    The Green Party is continuing its victory streak at Wellington City Council -- though the margin this time is paper-thin


    Renting advocate Geordie Rogers has officially won the Pukehinau Lambton Ward by-election.

    Final results, have him ahead of business owner Karl Tiefenbacher .

    The businessman was ahead as provisional results were released over the weekend -- his grip on the seat was lost as special votes and on-the-day votes were finalised.

    Karl Tiefenbacher is considering a recount.
