New research has found less than five percent of Australian and New Zealand lung cancer care centres, include services to help people stop smoking.
The survey of lung cancer doctors, covers about 85 percent of Australian centres treating the disease, and 100 percent of public hospitals here.
It looks at workforces, services and infrastructure.
The study also finds lung cancer nurse specialists and nuclear medicine are poorly represented in the care teams.
