    A second person's been arrested in relation to the death of a Mangamuka man in the Far North last night


    A homicide investigation was launched after emergency services were called to reports of a stabbing at an Iwitaua Road property.

    A 39-year-old woman's been charged with possessing an offensive weapon and is due in Kaitaia District Court tomorrow.

    Earlier today, a 50-year-old man was charged with murder.

    Detective Inspector Al Symonds says they aren't ruling out further arrests or charges.

    He says officers will remain in the area tonight.
