An emotional plea from the family of David Holland -- on the second anniversary of the Tauranga man's disappearance

The anaesthetics registrar was last seen at his Papamoa home on Friday March 11, 2022.

His UK-based mother Karen, says her life changed forever when she took the call saying there was concern for her son's safety.

She says while he was initially thought to have been lost while swimming, CCTV footage of someone that could have been him walking towards a state highway, led to other theories.

Karen says she has no closure, and is appealing to anyone who might have information.
