A man's been knocked unconscious after coming off an e-scooter, on Auckland's College Hill last night

A man's been knocked unconscious after coming off an e-scooter, on Auckland's College Hill last night

He was bleeding from his head - and was treated at the scene by St John, who took him to hospital in serious condition about 9.20.

The road's recently been repaired, after a giant sinkhole opened up last July.

A witness from a nearby apartment, says, there's now a hump in the road as big as a speed bump - but it isn't signalled by any road markings.

She says she's seen a dozen accidents - and last night was the worst.
