Hastings police have charged a man with murder - but say questions remain.. after a body was found in a burnt out car this week

The 30-year-old man is due to appear in court today, following his arrest yesterday.

Police launched a homicide investigation after the victim's body - which has yet to be identified - was found on Irongate Road on Tuesday night.

Detectives say they believe there are people in the community who have vital information but may not realise it.

They're appealing for CCTV footage and those who may know who is involved to come forward.
