A loss in the Tokyo Olympics sevens final has served as the inspiration behind the Hurricanes' unbeaten start to Super Rugby under Clark Laidlaw

The head coach was in charge of the New Zealand sevens team that fell to Fiji in the gold medal contest in 2021.

Laidlaw says that defeat led him to create "pressure moments" for his players, both on and off the field.

The Hurricanes are on the road to the Highlanders in Dunedin tonight...kick-off at five past seven....with live commentary on Gold Sport and iHeartRadio.
