    A jump in Easter spending compared to last year - despite spending growth remaining slow


    Worldline NZ reveals spending among CoreRetail merchants is up 2.5 percent on Easter last year - mostly due to a 6.4 percent rise on Easter Thursday.

    Consumers spent more on groceries - but also stocked up on books, hardware, sports equipment and clothes.
