The Government's bringing back 90-day 'no cause' periodic tenancy terminations

The Government's bringing back 90-day 'no cause' periodic tenancy terminations

It will also return landlords' notice period to 42 days, in cases where a landlord or their family member wants to move into the property.

The notice for tenants is also dropping from 28 days, to 21.

Housing Minister Chris Bishop says the changes are pro-tenant -- and will make it easier for 'mum and dad landlords' to be part of the rental market.
