Waikato's first fleet of electric buses are serving Cambridge and Te Awamutu from today

Waikato's first fleet of electric buses are serving Cambridge and Te Awamutu from today

The six buses will allow for more frequent timetables, doubling the services connecting Waipa and Hamilton.

The Cambridge services will increase from eight to 20 return trips per weekday, while the Te Awamutu service will increase from nine to 19 return trips.

Waipa's EV buses will travel 350 to 500 kilometers each day, covering some of the longest distances in the country.
