Cholmondeley  Children Centre's begun a new campaign, to fully staff all 23 of its beds

Cholmondeley Children Centre's begun a new campaign, to fully staff all 23 of its beds

The respite care facility needs to raise 250-thousand dollars, as it can only operate around 17 currently.

It's installed three of the centre's beds in the city, to help drive awareness of the work they do.

Fundraising Manager, Regan Hines says they're a safe haven for many kids -- but they can't do it alone.

He says they've been serving the community for nearly a century -- and need their help to ensure it's still here in another 100 years.
