Details have emerged, about two guns being pulled on an Auckland motorist who unknowingly merged into a gang convoy

Details have emerged, about two guns being pulled on an Auckland motorist who unknowingly merged into a gang convoy

The attack was at a stoplight in Otahuhu last August - as members drove to a large fight in Point England, where Head Hunters member Charles Pongi died.

21-year-old Paula Vilihifo Lavemai has been sentenced to one month's home detention for his role in the attack.

At the High Court, Justice Lang noted the motorist faced psychological injury and costly car repair bills.

He also noted the motorist might have suffered serious injuries if he hadn't stayed in his car.
