Sydney Sweeney has jokingly apologised for having "great" breasts

The 26-year-old actress - who shot to fame playing hysterical schoolgirl Cassie Howard in HBOs shock teen drama 'Euphoria' and who has previously opened up about how she considered getting chest reduction surgery when she was at high school - made the gag by wearing a shirt emblazoned with a naughtily-worded message that said "sorry" she had a wonderful cleavage and "correct opinions".

Sydney stuck on the top during a recent holiday with friends in Mexico, and uploaded the image of her wearing her cheeky shirt in a carousel of images that also showed her flaunting her toned body in a brown bikini.

There was also a snap of her dancing braless on a beach in a crop top as a mariachi band performed in the background.

Sydney's fans flooded the comments section of her post about her breasts with praise for the gag, with one joking: "Are you really sorry tho?"

Another of her supporters commented: "That shirt says it all, greetings to haters haha."

Sydney's latest display of body confidence on her Instagram comes after veteran Hollywood producer Carol Baum, 81, apologised for "crapping" on the actress by mocking her looks and acting ability.

Carol last week told TMZ after she taunted Sydney she wished she never said the actress "isn't pretty" and "can't act".

She added: "Crapping on an actor like that usually isn't (my) style."

Her U-turn comes after Sydney's representative slammed the producer for targeting their client during a public talk.

They told The New York Post: "How sad that a woman in the position to share her expertise and experience chooses instead to attack another woman.

"If that's what she's learned in her decades in the industry and feels is appropriate to teach to her students, that's shameful."

Carol - who is also a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences - hit out at a Sydney on 16 April following a screening of her 1998 horror-drama film 'Dead Ringers', starring Jeremy Irons.

She said: "There's an actress who everybody loves now - Sydney Sweeney,

"I don't get Sydney Sweeney. I was watching on the plane Sydney Sweeney's movie ('Anyone But You') because I wanted to watch it. I wanted to know who she is and why everybody's talking about her."

Carol, who teaches acting at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, went on to brand Sydney's recent rom-com 'Anyone But You' "unwatchable" and said she asked her students to explain to her why Sydney was considered "so hot".
