The Cleary name is confirmed to be returning to the Warriors in the NRL

The Cleary name is confirmed to be returning to the Warriors in the NRL

The Warriors have an eye to the future with the signing of 19-year-old halfback Jett Cleary - younger brother of Penrith halfback Nathan and son of former Warriors and current Panthers coach Ivan.

Cleary will head to Mt Smart next season on a three-year deal.

The playmaker was born in Auckland in 2005, just as his father was starting as assistant coach of the Warriors, before becoming head coach the following year.
