A reminder to be safe behind the wheel this Anzac weekend

With the school holidays winding down and Anzac Day today, NZTA and Police are encouraging people on the roads to build in plenty of time and drive well rested.

NZTA Road Safety Manager Fabian Marsh says the message needs to be reinforced, with many Kiwis getting in their vehicles to drive in the dark to dawn services.

He says while road contractors won't be working today, people should still be mindful of roadworks.
