The victim of a disgraced detective exposed as a sexual predator in a case which changed our police force, says 'good riddance' to his death

Brad Shipton died last month at age 65 -- after a years-long dementia battle.

His death came 20 years after he was accused -- along with other police officers -- of raping women in the 80s and 90s.

The allegations triggered an extensive investigation and a Royal Commission of Inquiry into police culture.

The woman whose evidence led to Shipton's conviction, also acknowledges his family's loss.

She says while they went through hell, the harm he caused to so many is far greater.
