Melbourne is chasing an NFL regular season game - possibly as early as late next year

Australia's Nine News reports the Melbourne Cricket Club - the managers of the MCG - and Victoria's tourism board are exploring the possibility of hosting a game in the 2024/25 season.

The NFL have taken 50 games to international venues - mostly in London - with more in the upcoming season.

The Los Angeles Rams have been slated as the likely home team, given direct flights between LA and Melbourne operate.
