Global dairy prices are ending the current season on a high -- up more than a third on the five-year low reached in August

Global dairy prices are ending the current season on a high -- up more than a third on the five-year low reached in August

Overall prices at this morning's auction are up 3.3 percent on a fortnight ago.

The price of whole milk power is up 2.9 percent, while the price of skim milk powder is up 3.5 percent.

Analyst Stu Davison says it's a positive position to be in at the end of the season, and puts dairy prices on a good footing heading into the next season.
