    Passengers have described their fear as a Singapore Airlines flight from London dropped about 1800 metres mid-flight

    Of 23 New Zealanders on board, two are in hospital in Bangkok - where the plane diverted - along with dozens of others injured

    A 73-year-old British man died of a suspected heart attack.

    Singapore Airlines says 79 passengers and six crew remain in Bangkok being treated or accompanying patients.

    The other passengers and crew are now in Singapore.
