    Indycar driver Scott McLaughlin admits the pressure to perform has compounded since becoming the second-ever Kiwi to clinch pole position ahead of Monday's Indy500


    The former Supercars champ clocked a historical record average speed of 377 kilometres per hour in qualifying.

    McLaughlin says the weight of expectation ramps up through the week.
