Police say they've caught a Christchurch teenager driving at a speed that was crazy, and idiotic

Police say they've caught a Christchurch teenager driving at a speed that was crazy, and idiotic

They say the 18 year old drove down the Southern Motorway at more than double the speed limit, just before 1pm yesterday.

Constable Scott Agnew says a crash would have been catastrophic.

The teen's been charged with dangerous driving, and had his licence suspended and vehicle impounded.
