    Police have launched a large search and rescue operation for missing Te Atatu woman, Monica Reid


    The 26-year-old was last seen on Friday on Matipo Road in Te Atatu Peninsula.

    A temporary base has been set up at the Waitemata Rowing Club with multiple groups search groups in attendance.

    Specialist teams have been conducting searches along Henderson Creek.

    The police helicopter has also been out this morning.
